Deviant Art LetterI have stopped using DA to upload my work for many reasons. The first being that uploading art on to this website is increasing slow. You must label and categorize art before uploading, this is a huge hassle. Please consider letting us upload art and label it as we so choose when we so choose. Uploading one piece at a time may work out for people who only get one or two pieces done at a time, but for those of us who have large batches of finished work - it just creates a block for us.
Many photographers have moved away from your site, I know I have moved off the more art-for-money-based community of DA onto a more photography-for-fun community of Flickr.
So, Deviant Art, I am sad. I am sad because your website is hard to use and not designed in a easy-to-navigate way. I am also sad because of your need to make us label our art. Not everything falls neatly into a label - artists don't like getting labeled, so don't label our art, either.
